Najm Cafe is a pure vegetarian restaurant in Ras Al Khaimah, built around one simple idea: serve the same honest, home-style vegetarian food that North Indian and Rajasthani families grow up eating. Every dish on our menu is prepared in a dedicated vegetarian kitchen, with no meat, poultry, or seafood cooked or served anywhere on the premises.
From hearty breakfasts and street-style chaat to Punjabi curries, Jain-friendly thalis, and our signature Rajasthani Dal Baati Churma, we cook everything fresh using traditional recipes and quality ingredients — not shortcuts.
Since 2015, Najm Cafe has been serving the Al Jazeera Al Hamra community and North Indian food lovers across the UAE.
Our Restaurant Story
Najm Cafe was started to fill a gap in Ras Al Khaimah for genuine, no-compromise vegetarian food — the kind you’d get from a home kitchen in Rajasthan or North India, not a diluted “veg options available” menu.
Our chef brings recipes passed down through Rajasthani authentic cooking style, and every dish is made the traditional way: fresh dough for parathas, slow-cooked dals, and the baked-then-crushed wheat balls that make authentic Dal Baati what it is.
Today, Najm Cafe serves the Al Jazeera Al Hamra community and vegetarian food lovers from across Ras Al Khaimah — whether that’s a Rajasthani or Gujarati family craving a proper thali, a Jain guest who needs onion-garlic-free food done right, or anyone simply looking for good vegetarian food nearby.

Our mission is simple: serve fresh, authentic, 100% vegetarian North Indian and Rajasthani food, made with care, at a price that makes it easy to eat here often — not just for a special occasion.
We take vegetarian and Jain dietary needs seriously. Nothing non-vegetarian is prepared in our kitchen, and Jain-style dishes (no onion, no garlic) are available on request, so guests with strict dietary requirements can order with confidence.
